No, Quicken 2007 BASIC had already changed enough from previous Quicken versions to be of any use to me. Quicken 99 BASIC, which I have had previously used for many years,,does not have any Stock Market or TAXES requirements to keep track of, and it is truly an ACCOUNTING PROGRAM, very easy to use and learn.
I installed Windows 10 and now my Quicken 2007 software won't run. While making account entries, I get the notice 'Quicken Launcher Has Stopped Working' and the program closes. Sometimes, I can force one entry in before the crash. I need Quicken alot more than I need Windows 10. Can this be fixed, or how can I get back to Windows 8.1?: Several weeks after my first post. I have discovered that I can make entries using scheduled transactions. I have to modify the 'scheduled transaction' each time, but Quicken seems to accept it without crashing.
I just need Quicken to last until the end of the year.then I'm switching to a nice, simple, basic account system that is not as intrusive as Quicken. Any suggestions?
