One of the better features involved here is the continuation of the story between the two of them, as there's a lot to like here with how this one brings the films together. This is mainly due to the two of them being there together from the beginning which certainly gives this a somewhat creepy atmosphere early on here with the two of them appearing around the complex to the new neighbors and their lives there continuing what happened from before with his physical condition now a permanent part of the story.

Knowing that the two are there and not trying to force them out like before really makes this one seem connected to its predecessor by keeping it in the same universe with characters that have been through a situation and learned from it which is a nice change of pace.
