I also faced the same problem, so i searched everywhere including this site but none of the solutions helped me to fix this problem.And finally after 10 days of suffering i got rid of it.i am explaining how. Go to tools->clear browsing data.delete evreything. This was suggested in a thread here.but i just deleted all browsing history, download history, cache and cookies.then i restarted my browser but it didnt work. 2.earlier i had IDM ver 6.12 build 15.so now i downloaded latest ver 6.12 build 19(at ).i uninstalled it completely.then i restarted my laptop.and intalled the latest ver build 19.then i started chrome and checked.the problem is solved and youtube videos are downloading with idm. I dont know exactly whether step1 or step2 or both helped me, thats why i explained what i did.try this may be it`ll work for you. Reply if it works.
